GM settlements

GM is the subject of a class action settlement related to fuel pump issues affecting certain Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra trucks. Buyers of a model year 2011–2016 Silverado or Sierra equipped with a 6.6L Duramax diesel engine, purchased from a GM-authorized dealer in California, Florida, Illinois, Iowa, New York, Pennsylvania, or Texas between March 1, 2010 and September 13, 2024, may be eligible for reimbursement of 50% of qualifying repair costs. The verified deadline to file is July 5, 2026.

If you own a 2011–2016 Chevrolet Silverado or GMC Sierra with a 6.6L Duramax diesel and paid for a CP4 fuel pump repair on or after May 6, 2025, you can get reimbursed for 50% of your repair costs. You must submit a Reimbursement Request Form within 60 days of the repair, and the final deadline is July 5, 2026. The past-repair and former-owner claim windows have already closed.
