Watch out for
- August 11, 2026 is a hard cutoff for both online filing and postmarked mail. Missing it means no benefits.
- All payouts can be scaled down if total claims push past the $31,500,000 fund cap.
- The residual cash payment is estimated at $60 but could drop to zero if documented loss claims and costs eat through the fund first.
- The California statutory payment is only for people who actually lived in California when the breaches happened in 2021.
- Handwritten receipts by themselves won't back up a monetary loss claim. You need third-party documentation.
- The Final Approval Hearing is set for October 1, 2026 at 9:30 a.m. ET. If the court doesn't approve the settlement, benefits could change.
