Whether you need to file depends on your current plan status: current Exela Plan participants receive payment automatically to their account, while former participants who no longer have an active Exela Plan account must submit a Former Participant Claim Form to receive any payment.

If you have an active Exela Plan account, do nothing — payment will be deposited directly to your account.
If you do NOT have an active Exela Plan account, download and complete the Former Participant Claim Form from the claim URL.
If your address has changed since you closed your plan account, contact the Settlement Administrator at 866-274-4004 or info@strategicclaims.net before submitting.
Submit your completed Former Participant Claim Form by the claim deadline.

Watch out for

Former participants with no active Exela Plan account who do nothing will receive NO payment — filing is required for them.
You cannot opt out of the Settlement Class; you are automatically bound by the outcome whether or not you file.
If your address changed after you closed your plan account, you must update it with the Settlement Administrator or your payment may not reach you.
The deadline to object to the Settlement has already passed.
