St. Joseph’s Data Settlement

What the form asks

• Unreimbursed Losses documentation — The actual out-of-pocket costs you had because of the breach, up to $2,000 total. (Pull together receipts, bank statements, or any other records that show expenses tied to the breach.)
• Lost Time claim — The hours you spent dealing with fallout from the breach. The settlement pays $25 per hour, capped at four hours. (Your own best estimate of the time spent, backed by any notes or calendar records you kept.)

Documents you'll need

• Receipts or records of unreimbursed out-of-pocket losses
• Credit monitoring enrollment confirmation (if electing that benefit)

Watch out for

• The claim deadline of December 29, 2025 has already passed.
• The opt-out deadline was November 28, 2025. If you didn't opt out, you're bound by the settlement and can't sue St. Joseph's College of Maine separately over this incident.
• If you did nothing and never filed, you won't get any benefits. You're still bound by the release.
• No payments go out until the court grants final approval. The hearing was scheduled for May 4, 2026.
