Watch out for
- The opt-out and objection deadlines are August 7, 2026, which is after the July 23, 2026 claim deadline. You can object and still file a claim at the same time.
- Medical Data Monitoring enrollment codes can't be activated until after the court grants Final Approval. The Final Approval Hearing is set for August 22, 2026.
- Cash and Medical Monitoring are separate tracks. You must file a claim for cash; you don't file anything for monitoring, just activate the code.
- If you do nothing, you stay in the settlement automatically. That means no cash payment and no right to sue Thompson Coburn separately, though you can still activate Medical Monitoring if you have an enrollment code.
- Thompson Coburn denies any wrongdoing. The court hasn't ruled in favor of either side.
