Washington Nationals - Discount Tickets
If you were 40 or older and bought Washington Nationals single-game tickets directly from the team between March 29, 2023 and March 28, 2024, you were excluded from a discount offered only to fans aged 21–39. A federal court approved a settlement on September 12, 2025, and you can choose between a ticket credit (no action needed) or a cash payment (file by December 12, 2025).

To get a cash payment instead, submit a claim form by December 12, 2025. If you're an unknown class member, you must file a claim form certifying your date of birth and confirming your purchase, and you have 90 days after final judgment to do so.

What the form asks
- Date of birth — Your date of birth, sworn under penalty of perjury, to show you were 40 or older when you bought the ticket. (Your own personal records.)
- Ticket purchase affirmation — A sworn statement that you bought a covered ticket during the eligible window. (Your order history on the Nationals website, MLB.com, or any box office receipt you have.)
- Election of benefit type — Choose between a Ticket Credit or a cash payment. (Your own preference. Ticket Credit goes to your MLB.com account; cash comes from the Settlement Administrator.)
Watch out for
- The cash payment deadline was December 12, 2025. If you missed it and you're a Known Class Member, a Ticket Credit may still come your way automatically.
- Only tickets in specific sections qualify: Baseline Box, Baseline Reserved, Infield Box, Corner, Scoreboard Pavilion, and Upper Gallery. Other seats aren't covered.
- Unknown Class Members don't get anything automatically. You had to submit a Claim Form to receive either benefit.
- The discount the lawsuit challenged ended March 28, 2024, so tickets you buy now aren't part of this.
