HVMG Hotels Unpaid PTO Settlement
Court case: Vicki Powers and Matthew Watkins v. Hospitality Ventures Management, LLC, et al., Case No. 20-CVS-4489
If you worked at one of four HVMG-managed North Carolina hotels and left between March 2020 and April 2021 with unpaid accrued PTO, this class action settlement paid eligible former employees automatically.
Official eligibility wordingYou may be eligible if you were employed (or jointly employed) at the Greensboro-High Point Marriott, Winston-Salem Marriott Downtown, Embassy Suites by Hilton Winston-Salem, or the Benton Convention Center, your employment ended between March 15, 2020 and April 12, 2021, you had accrued paid time off (PTO) that you were eligible to be paid at separation, and you were not paid for that earned PTO. Excluded are the Defendants' employees, officers, directors, and agents, and anyone who previously released these PTO claims.
