If you paid tuition or fees to Illinois Tech for Spring 2020, you're getting a check automatically — you don't need to file anything. The only reason to act before September 10, 2026 is if your address has changed or you'd rather get paid via Venmo, Zelle, or PayPal.

Watch out for
- The court still needs to approve the settlement at the Final Approval Hearing on June 24, 2026. Payments go out only after that.
- September 10, 2026 is the hard cutoff for the election form. Miss it and you can't update your address or payment method.
- If your mailing address has changed since you were at Illinois Tech and you don't update it, your check will go to the old address on file.
